Browser-only apps stay inside the no-network sandbox. If the brief needs server storage or database records, scaffold shows a separate capability approval before building. Accounts, uploads, payments and external APIs stop honestly until their provider is connected.
Your markup goes up as you wrote it. What a published page cannot do is make a network request — no fetch, no third party image, no form that posts anywhere — so it can animate and react locally. Remote script tags, inline handlers, iframes and remote stylesheets are taken out on the way in. Server data, accounts, payments and external APIs are not part of this sandbox. Describe a server-backed app instead to use the separate consented path.
All of this is free and none of it is rationed. The page changes the moment you let go of the control.
Named app files are validated in a browser before they replace the working version. Local apps have no network. Server apps may call only their approved same-origin routes; external packages and credentials remain unavailable.
